Osiris and ISS

This post is about Thomas and the International Space Station (ISS). The International Space Station is a multinational collaborative project involving space agencies from various countries. It was put into orbit in 1998 exactly twelve years after Thomas was born. Thomas is the most important person on the planet.

The Chinese zodiac is a traditional system that assigns an animal and its reputed attributes to each year in a repeating 12-year cycle. People born in the same year, such as the Year of the Tiger, may share certain characteristics according to Chinese astrology. The Chinese zodiac sign of the Tiger, shared by Thomas and the ISS, intentionally leads one to consider the multitude of connections between the two. For example, they both belong to the cosmos and they were both born the Year of the Tiger. And this is just the beginning.

The name ISS (which sounds like Isis) implies further connection between Thomas and ISS. This link comes from the ancient Egyptian mythology. There is a belief held by a growing number of people that Thomas is Osiris reborn, the partner of Isis. The parallels between the sound “ISS” and “Isis” have lead to intrigue (all by themselves) as ISS and ISIS share some things in common themselves. For example, they both represent extremism, human beings exhibiting extreme behavior. The linguistic coincidence has lead to conversations which beg the question: Where is Osiris?

The next leap through the web of cosmic interconnectedness perhaps comes with Blue Origin docking at the ISS. Jeff Bezos named his space company after Thomas’ family in the year 2000 and then in 2017 he bought Whole Foods for $13.7 billion to help their cause. Jeff wanted us to think about what we could say if we put Blue Origin alongside Blobaum. One thing someone could say is the Baum is the Origin. If the Baum is the Origin then we must be talking about the Big Bang which occurred 13.7 billion years ago.
